Former President Donald slammed Hollywood actor George Clooney for calling on President Joe Biden to drop out of the election race.
Clooney penned an open letter in The New York Times saying that even though Biden “saved our democracy” by beating Trump in 2020 but stating that the Democrats “are not going to win in November with this president.”
Trump hopped on his Truth Social to clap back, taking a jab at Clloney’s acting abilities.
“So now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting into the act. He’s turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are,” he wrote.
Trump continued, “What does Clooney know about anything? He uses the Democrat ‘talking point’ that Biden, the WORST President in the history of the United States, has ‘saved our Democracy.'”
Biden said in several interviews and a recent press conference that he has no intentions of dropping out of the race.
