Donald Trump, who is facing his own RICO trial, weighed in on Young Thug’s ongoing trial and says the rapper deserves better treatment.
“I hear Young Thug is being treated — I heard it from other people where they say he’s being treated very unfairly. So he’s gotta be treated fairly,” he told Adin Ross.

Young Thug is facing charges related to racketeering conspiracy and participation in criminal street gang activity, along with drug and gun charges. Prosecutors accuse the rapper of violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
Last month, a judge denied Young Thug’s legal team’s request for a mistrial and denied his motion for bond to allow the rapper out on house arrest.
“I am not going to reconsider any bond issues that have already been ruled on absent legitimate changed circumstances,” Judge Paige Whitaker told Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel.
The trial is now on it’s third judge after two were recused.
