A pregnant woman is believed to have been assaulted by her anesthesiologist while she was giving birth, via a C-section, Media Take Out has learned. And the entire incident was purportedly caught on tape.
According to local reports, Giovanni Quintella Bezerra, 32, was arrested on suspicion of r*pe after he was secretly filmed appearing to put his male appendage in the woman’s mouth after he heavily sedated her at the Hospital da Mulher in São João de Meriti, Rio de Janeiro.
The local reports, seen by Media Take Out, show that Mr Bezerra only completed his medical training in anesthesia two months ago.
Hospital staff were reportedly worried about the amount of drugs he was giving to his patients so fitted a secret camera to see what he was up to, reports show.
They were horrified to see him appearing to assault the woman as other doctors ignored his horrific act, and performed the C-section on her – less than three feet away behind a surgical curtain.
The video shows the assault, which occurred for almost ten minutes.
Giovanni Quintella Bezerra was arrested and is currently being held on unspecified charges.
