DJ Vlad and Marlon Wayans got into a back and forth on social media last week, after Vlad revealed that Wayanas wanted $40,000 for an interview.
Wayans also requested 30% of all ad revenue from the video. According to the star, he usually receives $100,000 or more for an interview.
Vlad is known for paying celebrities for interviews but called the Hollywood actor out, saying he wasn’t worth that amount.
In a recent sitdown with DJ Akademiks, the pair discussed the fallout and Vlad admitted that he may have not acted professionally in the moment.
“Marlon, I apologize for jumping out the window the way I did. You didn’t really deserve it cause honestly, at the end of the day, it was just a business negotiation. I could have kept it to myself; I overdid it,” he says in the clip. “At one point, maybe we could work something out because I do actually respect you. That was the reason I approached you in the first place, you know what I mean, and I just hoped that you would see what I have done over these years.”
Wayans has not publicly responded to DJ Vlad’s apology.
