DJ Vlad is accusing N.O.R.E. of pressuring him to drink on Drink Champs and says the podcast has a troubling history of serving alcohol to guests who have struggled with addiction.
Vlad said he first turned down a 2022 invitation because he did not want to drink while being interviewed.
“I just don’t want to drink on the show. I’ll drink soda and just pretend to drink,” he recalled telling N.O.R.E.
According to Vlad, N.O.R.E. replied, “No, no, no. You got to drink. You got to drink. This is the show.”
Vlad said he later made his position clear in messages.
“There’s no way I will do an interview with anyone while intoxicated,” he said. “I run a company and deal with legal issues. So, anything I say could have serious consequences.”
He eventually appeared on the show in 2024, but the relationship has since imploded.
Vlad also criticized Drink Champs for episodes featuring Lamar Odom and DMX, citing their histories with substance abuse, and Ye, who has publicly discussed alcohol use.

N.O.R.E. says Dame told him years ago, “What a culture vulture is, when they can’t use you anymore they throw you away.” And according to him, Vlad is a culture vulture and a clown.

“Here’s the dark side of ‘Drink Champs’ that people don’t really want to talk about,” said Vlad. He later added, “You don’t take an addict to a drinking platform.”
The feud escalated after Vlad accused N.O.R.E. of repeatedly backing out of a promised VladTV interview.
