DJ Scheme, a frequent collaborator of late rapper XXXtentacion hopped on X to call out Drake for how he moved after the rapper was gunned down in Florida.
XXX was killed in June 2018 during a robbery outside a motorcycle store that quickly escalated to violence.
“My Only Issue Is That After My Brother Died All Drake Did Was Throw Shots To Look More Gangster. So To Wrap Things Up It’s Still F-ck Drake,” DJ Scheme tweeted.
In a separate tweet, he added, “My loyalty is to MY family that’s it. & I consider each and every one of you guys apart of it.”
Michael Boatwright, 28, Dedrick Williams, 26, and Trayvon Newsome, 24, were charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and armed robbery with a firearm and sentenced to life in prison. A fourth defendant, Robert Allen, took a plea deal for a 2nd-degree murder charge. He was sentenced to seven years in prison, with credit for the five years he has already spent at the Broward County jail. He will then spend 20 years on probation.
Drake and XXX had beef and rumors have circulated online that the Canadian rapper had something to do with his death, although this has not been proven. Drake has taken shots at XXX in several of his songs since the rapper’s passing. It was even requested that he be deposed but the deposition did not take place.
