DJ Envy reacted to the news that The Kid Mero and Desus Nice split.
If you remember years back, their interview on Breakfast Club in 2018 went viral. Mero claimed in a new interview that he wanted to “snuff” and “knock” Envy out for the way he acted in the interview.
“I guess on the show, after, when they had their show, ’cause I don’t think they’re together anymore, but when they had their show, they said something [like], ‘I was gon’ slap the sh-t outta Envy and Envy, you can suck my d-ck from the back.’ That’s what I think he said, something like that,” said Envy, later adding, “As a man growing up, my father always told me if somebody says something you don’t like, you approach them.”
Mero and Desus split over allegations their manager was a bully.
“I love everything that he’s done. It’s just natural. I’ve got my life, my worldview, my things going on, and he’s got his. So it’s only right that, instead of just staying like, ‘We’re only going to do this one thing,’ we explore. Let’s break out. Let’s see what we do as individuals, and then form like Voltron later on. Who knows?” Mero said.
