DJ Envy admitted his wife, Gia Casey, once had to teach him how to wash his backside in the shower properly.
The radio host made the unexpected confession during Tuesday’s episode of The Breakfast Club while the hosts discussed Eric Benét’s advice that men should “wash your a– expeditiously.”
“Yes, I used to be the type of guy that didn’t ‘get up all in there,’” Envy said. He explained that he had never given much thought to whether he was cleaning himself thoroughly.
That changed years ago when he and Casey showered together.
“One day she got all in there, and I’m like, ‘Whoa,’” he recalled. “And then I realized I’m supposed to wash my a– thoroughly and correctly.”

Envy said he changed his routine after that moment, adding, “You should get up all in there. You don’t want stinky –s.”
Jess Hilarious immediately roasted her co-host, asking whether Casey had to “detail” him and whether his underwear used to be “crunchy at the end of the night.”
Envy laughed and replied that his briefs “are not crunchy anymore,” noting that the incident happened when he was younger.
Charlamagne tha God appeared stunned by the exchange, calling the conversation “nonsense” before sharing that he uses separate washcloths for his face, body and private areas.
