DJ Drama denies claims that he allegedly paid $120,000 to receive his chains back from the group of Toronto goons who reportedly robbed him for not “checking in.”
DJ Akademiks shared a report about Drama buying the chain back. Canadian rapper Top5 replied: “120K for the chain back that’s a good deal [two laughing emojis] [handshake emoji].”
The official Generation Now IG account responded to the comment with a cap emoji while the label’s co-founder Leighton “Lakeshow” Morrison wrote “Lololololololol.”
On social media, the alleged robbers posted themselves and made several claims, all while allegedly rocking Drama’s diamond encrusted Generation Now chain.
“This is… that’s what you f-ckin’ get for not checkin’ in!” one of the men says, flashing a Rolex. “Shout out boy, Drizzy, eh? Triple G’s, you know how we rock! Braap! Braap!”
DJ Drama was scheduled to perform at the Century nightclub on King Street in Toronto. According to sources, the incident occurred inside of the club.
