DJ Akademiks is giving round one of the Kendrick Lamar/ Drake beef to Drizzy and is claiming that Rick Ross’ Drake diss was better than the West Coast’s rapper.
Ak says the diss didn’t hit hard enough because it wasn’t funny.
“Unpopular Opinion.. Rick Ross had a better Drake diss than Kendrick. at least that n-gga came w some Jokes. BBL DRIZZY funny… kendrick just said the same sh-t.. 15 other n-ggas done said. sh-t wasn’t even that funny or clever,” Ak tweeted.
In a separate tweet, Ak wrote, “Kendrick Lamar diss hard tho. Just a lil bloated and basically was a long ass warning shot. Dont think he realize drake already think its up w him… Kendrick talking bout we can have friendly fades..and not get personal… n-gga huh?”
Ak is close friends with Drake, and even premiered his “Taylor Made” freestyle on his livestream. Drake is also Ak’s favorite artist.
Ak says he’s giving Drake 17 days to respond although he thinks the rapper will respond within a week.
