DJ Akademiks says he talked to Drake about J. Cole’s apology and the Canadian rapper says he will not apologize to Kendrick Lamar for dissing him…ever.

“I [told Drake], ‘Please, don’t do no sh-t like this. Please don’t apologize and do no weird sh-t. I’ve defended you, I’ve argued because I’ve liked your music for over a decade,” said Ak.

He continued, “Please, please don’t do no sh-t like this. [Drake] said, ‘I can’t f-cking believe you would pull up and say some sh-t like that to me, you must not know me.’”

Several rappers have commented on Cole’s apology, including Lupe Fiasco, 50 Cent, Styles P and Meek Mill.

K.Dot has not addressed the diss or the apology from Cole. Fans are now waiting for Drake to clap back at Kendrick on wax.

“I just want to come up here and publicly be like, bruh, that was the lamest, goofiest sh-t,” Cole told his fans at Dreamville Fest. “I say all that to say it made me feel like ten years ago when I was moving incorrectly. And I pray that God will line me back up on my purpose and on my path. I pray that my n-gga really didn’t feel no way and if he did, my n-gga, I got my chin out. Take your best shot. I’ma take that sh-t on the chin, boy. Do what you do.”
