DJ Akademiks is not convinced A$AP Rocky has done enough in his back-and-forth with Drake.
On a recent livestream, Akademiks discussed the tension after both artists released projects this year and appeared to take shots at each other. While he said Drake’s feud with Kendrick Lamar carries more weight, he says the Rocky situation goes deeper.
“This is d–k and p—y business,” Akademiks said, bringing up Rihanna’s past romantic history with Drizzy.
Akademiks, a vocal Drake supporter, still said he does not want to watch the Toronto rapper crush Rocky without a bigger response. “I like Drake’s music more, but I don’t want to see a full-on bullying,” he said. “A$AP, you don’t got nothing going, bro? Fight back, Crodie.”

He also pushed back on Drake fans who have mocked Rocky’s recent performances, saying the Harlem rapper should not be dismissed that easily.
Drake and Rocky used to be friends. They collaborated during Rocky’s early mainstream rise, most notably on “F–kin’ Problems,” alongside 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar.
Drake and Rihanna were linked for years and worked together on multiple songs before she later said, “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either.” Rihanna later built a family with Rocky. The couple, together publicly since 2020, are parents to RZA, Riot, and Rocki. Drake has frequently taken jabs at both in his music.
