Sean “Diddy” Combs will be a free man sooner than expected after this release date was moved up once again.
The disgraced music mogul, who is incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix, is currently set to be released on February 23, 2028.
His release had previously been scheduled for April 2525, 2028, but another recent adjustment moved it to June 2028.
Diddy was convicted last July on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in a federal case involving two former girlfriends, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura Fine and an anonymous woman identified as “Jane,” as well as sex workers. He was sentenced to 50 months in the New Jersey prison at Fort Dix.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to give a specific reason for the latest change.

The bureau said it does “not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual, including release plans,” but noted that dates may change because of “good conduct time,” credits from approved programs and activities, or credit for time served before sentencing.
Diddy’s lawyers are still appealing his conviction. Before sentencing, he told the judge he had gotten sober “for the first time in 25 years,” was attending therapy, and had begun mentoring other inmates.
Diddy has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct. He is also facing more than 70 civil lawsuits across the country, including one filed this month by a former child actor.
