Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly rushed to a New Jersey hospital after hitting his head on a bunk bed inside the federal prison where he is serving his sentence.

The 56-year-old music mogul was transported by ambulance from Fort Dix around 1 a.m. The incident occurred Saturday, Oct. 10.

A source told Page Six that Diddy struck his head against the upper bunk but is recovering well. The rapper was reportedly conscious and able to speak after the accident, and his injury was not considered life-threatening.

His representative addressed the health scare in a statement to the entertainment outlet.

“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” the spokesperson said. “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern,” the statement continued, “and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

The disgraced Bad Boy Records founder has allegedly received multiple disciplinary write-ups involving alleged altercations and cellphone violations and lost 400 days of commissary privileges and 41 days of good-time credit.

His projected release date was also reportedly moved from Jan. 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028.

Diddy was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution in 2025. He has repeatedly denied allegations of wrongdoing.
