Marc Agnifilo, attorney for Sean “Diddy” Combs, was interviewed on CNN today on The Source with Kaitlan Collins – and he dropped a few bombshells that has people wondering whether Diddy may be able to beat the charges.
Diddy has been charged with multiple crimes, which if taken together – he faces up to 100 years in prison.
But the main crime he is being charged with is sex trafficking.
And Marc Agnifilo claims that – according to the indictment, Diddy is not being charged with trafficking multiple women. Despite being sued by multiple men and women, federal prosecutors are only charging Diddy with trafficking one woman, namely Cassie Ventura.
Marc explained, “[There are] 49 witnesses and one victim. … I say that because count two, which is the sex trafficking count, has victim number one and there is no victim number two anywhere in the indictment.”
The interviewer Kaitlin Collins was shocked by the attorney’s claim, and asked for clarification, “So you’re saying that there are not other women because what they were essentially arguing here is that he coerced and forced women into sex acts by using physical force, financial pressure, emotional abuse, and narcotics for what they described as these freak off sessions.”
Marc Agnifilo reiterated his claim, “Yeah, there’s — there’s one victim in the indictment. That — the charging document.
Later in the interview, Marc dropped another bombshell. He claims that in the hotel assault video, Cassie was not trying to get away from Diddy, the attorney suggests that she was robbing him – and Diddy caught her. And he says that he has proof too.
Marc explained:” She found out that he was seeing someone else. She was going through his phone. She hit him in the head with his — with his own phone. And then she walks into the — into the hallway with two bags.
“One of the bags has all of his clothing that she is taking from him, which is why he runs out in the towel., ” he added.
“So this isn’t her fleeing from one of these freak offs. Why would she take his clothing? That’s not what it is,” teh attorney concluded.
Next Marc dropped the final bombshell, saying that Cassie was free to come and go as she pleased. And anything that she did do – including engaging in freakoffs was under her own free will, and a consenting adult.
Marc explained, “Cassie Ventura lived by herself. She had her own house. She had a family. She had a career, and he was seeing another woman at the time. He wasn’t around a lot.
“She could have done whatever she wanted to do. All of these allegations of — oh, I was forced, I was coerced, I had to stay are nonsense. And it’s going to be proven to be so,” Marc added.
