Gene Deal, the former bodyguard of Sean “Diddy” Combs says the rapper was made into a monster by the music industry.
According to Deal, the things Diddy has done to people in the industry had already been done to him first.
He says Diddy was “taught” and “trained” to act the way he did by industry higher-ups and that he was not born this way.
”When he was in New York City, he was like that gecko from the Geico commercial, then [when] he lived in Cali and Miami, he turned into Godzilla,” he told The Art of Dialogue. “He turned into something that you could consider a monster, bruh. … He learned from Andre Harrell. He learned from Russell Simmons. He learned from Clive Davis. … They were heavy into beating women, and doing things at that crazy stage. That’s gonna make him think that he can get away with the same thing.”
Harrell passed away in February.
Simmons is currently facing a lawsuit, alleging r-pe. More than 20 women have stepped forward to accused the record executive of sexual assault.
