Sean “Diddy” Combs’ family is denying claims that he fought a Jamaican drug lord inside a New Jersey prison, days after the rapper was hospitalized with a head injury.
During yesterday’s episode of The Breakfast Club, Loren LoRosa said she spoke with a Diddy relative, who calls the viral reports of a confrontation with Christopher “Dudus” Coke “completely false.”
“There was not a fight at all,” LoRosa said, relaying the family’s account.
Diddy, 56, was reportedly transported to a hospital Saturday, Oct. 10, after suffering a head injury at Fort Dix prison.
Although his loved ones aren’t entirely sure what caused the injury, LoRosa maintained that “it definitely wasn’t anything crazy.”
She explained that Diddy is guarded when outside the prison’s Special Housing Unit and that he and Coke are housed on “completely different sides” of the facility.
The family is also upset that news of his hospitalization became public.
“No one should know he was taken to the hospital,” LoRosa said, adding that his relatives want to know how the information surfaced.
A Federal Bureau of Prisons representative separately denied the alleged confrontation, telling Page Six it “did not happen”… but social media users and even major news outlets are relying on their sources who claim that Dudus was behind the rapper’s injury.
Diddy is serving a 50-month prison sentence following his 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation for prostitution. He is projected to be released on March 2, 2028. He has always maintained his innocence.
