And Media Take Out confirmed that people from Diddy’s team have approached Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, and have already begun campaigning for a pardon.
Donald Trump and Diddy have been friends for 30 years. The two have partied together, their families have spent time together, and they both know each other’s secrets.
When Donald Trump was elected president in 2016, Diddy and Trump decided that it was best if they didn’t publicly acknowledge their friendship. But behind the scenes, the two men remained friends – and are still close to this day, Media Take Out has been told.
Now, in a last ditch effort to stay of out prison, Media Take Out has learned that Diddy has been using back channels – to see whether if elected, Trump would entertain a possible pardon.
Diddy’s friend told Media Take Out, “He’s reached out to Trump, through mutual friends. I don’t know if Trump would get elected, or entertain pardoning his former friend. But [Diddy] is desperate.”
Diddy and Donald Trump both came up in New York in the 1980s and 1990s, and in many ways – they were the two most popular celebrities in the city, in those days. It’s not surprising that the two wealthy bachelors struck up a friendship.
