Diddy shared a snippet of a phone call with rapper Gunna who is in jail awaiting trial on RICO charges.
“I’m praying, man. I’m praying,” Diddy told Gunna.
Gunna then says, “Yeah, that’s it. They gonna work. I’m doing nothing but preserving my self and keeping my mind together and getting myself right for when I’m back out there.”
Diddy added, “I’m sorry you going through this, though, king. You feel me?”
Gunna then tells him, “But it’s part of the journey so I have to just understand that. It’s just about climbing and refocusing and making sure I’m prepared for when I do come out.”
Diddy then gives Gunna a long, uplifting speech, encouraging him to empower his mind and prepare for his return.
Diddy captioned the social media post, “Spoke to my brother @Gunna the other day. God takes us through crazy journeys sometimes for reasons we don’t know. To anyone going through a tough time, stay in a high frequency and know that everything happens for a reason. Keep the faith and stay laser focused.”
