Sean “Diddy” Combs may be fighting for his life in court, but that didn’t stop him from linking up with his former Bad Boy artist, G. Dep, in his hometown of Harlem.
G. Dep posted a pic of him sitting next to his former boss on a Harlem stoop. The post was captioned, “+ Praise the Creator!!! Around! Let’s get it! +.”
G. Dep was released from prison in April after New York Governor Kathy Hochul granted the 49-year-old rapper, real name Trevell Coleman, clemency.
On December 15, 2010, Coleman walked into the 25th Precinct to turn himself in. He confessed to a cold case crime, the murder of a Queens man in 1993. Coleman had attempted to confess twice before but was previously considered to be under the influence of drugs and incoherent.
“In order to restore balance to my life and someone’s family, I wanted to turn myself in and see what happened,” he told The Art of Dialogue at the time. “I was willing to put myself on the line, whether or not he passed on. I just needed to get that off my mind,” he said, adding that he did “the right thing.”
In the comments section of the post, fans accused Diddy of using G. Dep for publicity.
Diddy is currently fighting up to eight lawsuits in court, alleging s-xual assault, r-pe and other heinous crimes. He is also currently being investigated by the feds for alleged trafficking.
