According to Cam’ron, Ma$e has finally received his publishing back from Diddy.
“My n-gga murder had to sit this one out. He just got his publishing back from Puff. Just finished the paper work for that yesterday. Congrats @rsvpmase while he getting his music back in order, I’m dumping my hard drive pause. The lost files vol 1. Sept 8,” Cam captioned a video posted to Instagram.
Mase was signed to Bad Boy Records when he gave his publishing rights to Diddy for $20,000. In 2020, he hopped on social media to put Diddy on blast for the bad business move.
“Every year y’all be killing us man. The amount of time it takes to make these records, to pour your heart into it, and you just want an even playing field. Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Badboy label,” Mase said at the time.
