Sean “Diddy” Combs is inching closer to life outside prison after federal records revealed another adjustment to his projected release date.
The 56-year-old music mogul is now expected to be released from New Jersey’s FCI Fort Dix on January 21, 2028, moving up from February 5.
Diddy’s original release date was June 2028, but it has been moved forward several times.
Back in July, the disgraced music mogul got into a physical altercation with another inmate who reportedly insulted him. Both inmates pushed each other before prison staff stepped in. A source claimed the “Bad Boy for Life” artist “held his own” during the incident but was forced to spend time in solitary confinement afterward.
The Grammy winner was transferred to Fort Dix following his 50-month sentence for two prostitution-related convictions. He was acquitted of the more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
Attorneys handling his $100 million defamation lawsuit accused him of failing to pay substantial legal bills and cooperate with their representation.
Diddy rejected those allegations.
“I made the decision to switch lawyers because I won’t let anyone take advantage of me by overcharging me and running up bills that were never approved,” he told Page Six at the time.
His former attorney, Michael Tremonte, disputed that explanation.
Diddy has always denied all allegations against him.
