Attorneys for Sean “Diddy” Combs have filed a motion to dismiss specific claims made against him in a November sexual assault lawsuit.
Diddy and two other men were accused of drugging and r-ping a student at Syracuse University in 1991.
Diddy’s attorneys say that the allegations “were brought under statutes that did not exist at the time the alleged misconduct occurred” and that the revenge p-rn and human trafficking claims should be dismissed with prejudice because the laws named in the filing did not exist at the time of the attack.
Joi Dickerson-Neal was 19 years old when she says she went to dinner at a Harlem restaurant in January 1991 with the Bad Boy boss before he drove her to a recording studio after being intentionally drugged by Diddy. She says she was unable to walk properly. He allegedly took her to his hotel and sexually assaulted her and even filmed the assault before Diddy “viewed the ‘sex tape’ along with other men.”
Diddy denies all of the allegations against him.
