Diddy Could Soon Be Granted Clemency From Trump!

Sean “Diddy” Combs could receive clemency from President Donald Trump, though the White House has not announced a decision.

Trump has privately discussed the possibility of pardoning Diddy and was expected to review his case during a Friday meeting about several potential clemency recipients, CBS News reported, citing unnamed sources.

The discussion comes as the disgraced music mogul serves a four-year sentence following his 2025 conviction for transportation to engage in prostitution. Jurors acquitted the music mogul of racketeering and sex trafficking charges, which carried far more severe potential penalties.

Diddy’s current sentence is set to run through February 2028 if no pardon is granted.

“I call him Puff Daddy, [he] has asked me for a pardon,” the president said in October 2025. He also said he would “take a look at it” and speak with the Justice Department.

Trump has also called Diddy out for criticizing him publicly.

“I was very friendly with him. I got along with him great, and seemed like a nice guy,” Trump told Newsmax in 2025. “But when I ran for office, he was very hostile.”

By January, Trump said he was no longer considering the request, despite receiving a formal letter from the Bad Boy Records boss.

Ahead of sentencing, Diddy asked the court for “mercy” and apologized for his conduct. “One of the hardest things I’ve had to handle is having to be quiet, not being able to express how sorry I am for my actions,” he said.
