But according to neither Cassie nor Diddy can say the other’s name publicly thanks to a stringent NDA. This explains why Diddy did not say her name in the video and why Cassie is unable to speak publicly and address the video of Diddy beating her in a hotel hallway back in 2016.
Cassie’s attorney did release a statement after Diddy apologized for the abuse.
“Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt,” Meredith Firetog said.
“When Cassie and other multiple women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”
Social media isn’t buying Diddy’s apology.
