Diddy Granted Bail After Prostitution Conviction—Plans Mansion Party in Miami

New York City, July 1, 2025 — Sean “Diddy” Combs is once again a free man, just hours after being found guilty of two federal prostitution charges. A federal judge granted the hip-hop mogul $1 million bail, allowing him to walk out of court and return home while awaiting sentencing later this year.

Media Take Out confirmed the judge’s decision came shortly after the jury delivered its final verdict: guilty on two counts of prostitution, and not guilty on all other charges, including the sex trafficking allegations and the highly publicized RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) charge.

The courtroom erupted with mixed emotions. While prosecutors had hoped for a sweeping conviction under the RICO statute, the jury rejected the idea that Diddy operated a criminal enterprise. In the end, they found him liable only for transporting individuals for illegal sexual activity—a federal offense, but one that carries a significantly lighter sentence than the original charges.

Diddy now faces a potential maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Sentencing is expected this fall.

Pardon in the Works?

Behind the scenes, Diddy’s legal team has been working overtime—not just in court, but in Washington. As Media Take Out previously reported, Combs has been actively pursuing a presidential pardon from former President Donald Trump. And according to insiders close to the situation, Trump is “receptive” to the idea.

While no decision has been made public, sources say Diddy’s team is “optimistic” that the pardon could come before sentencing, potentially clearing his record or reducing the impact of the convictions.

Trump, who has a history of granting clemency to artists including Lil Wayne and Kodak Black, is said to be monitoring the situation closely. Diddy and Trump have a long and complicated relationship—one built on decades of social and business overlap. It remains to be seen whether that relationship will translate into a political lifeline.

Celebration Mode: Diddy Heads to Miami

With the immediate legal crisis behind him—for now—Diddy is wasting no time getting back to his version of normal. Media Take Out can confirm that he’s flying to Miami this week to host a massive party at his lavish Star Island mansion.

The private, invite-only event is expected to include close friends, family members, and a star-studded guest list of celebrity supporters. Sources describe it as a “celebration of freedom” and a show of resilience in the face of one of the biggest legal battles of his life.

Fireworks, luxury catering, live music, and strict security are all expected. “He’s not ignoring what happened,” one insider told us. “But he’s also not hiding. He’s going to enjoy his freedom while he has it.”

What’s Next for Diddy

  • Bail granted: Diddy is free while awaiting sentencing.
  • Sentencing scheduled: Expected to take place this fall.
  • Possible pardon: Discussions with Trump’s political team are ongoing.
  • No retrial: Since Diddy was found not guilty of the RICO and sex trafficking charges, no retrial on those counts will take place.

While Diddy avoided the most serious federal charges, the two convictions still pose a significant threat to his freedom—and his legacy. Whether Trump intervenes or not, the road ahead will be defined by legal strategy, public perception, and, perhaps, one last political Hail Mary.

But tonight, Diddy is out—and he’s celebrating.
