Sean “Diddy” Combs wanted Mike Tyson to send a letter to President Donald Trump, and the former heavyweight champion says he did.
Tyson, 60, shared the surprising detail while discussing his relationship with Combs during a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.
“I spoke with him once on the phone,” Tyson told host Andy Cohen. “He wanted me to give a letter to the president.”
Cohen immediately asked whether the boxer had actually delivered the message.
“I did what he told me to do, yeah,” Tyson responded.
Neither the letter’s contents nor how Tyson delivered it was disclosed.
The revelation comes months after Trump acknowledged receiving a letter from Diddy in January seeking a presidential pardon. Trump said he had no plans to approve the request.
Tyson also spoke about his reaction to the prosecution of Diddy, who was convicted of two prostitution-related transportation offenses in July 2025.
“I was surprised that they went through so many lengths to get him,” Tyson said, going on to add that he is still “friendly” with the disgraced music mogul.
A federal jury acquitted Diddy of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges following a lengthy trial. He is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey and continues to appeal his conviction.
