Adria English, the woman who filed a civil lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs earlier this year for alleged sex trafficking, has filed a criminal complaint against him.
According to the lawsuit, Adria says that her boyfriend and another model were asked to perform oral sex on Diddy to get the job. Her boyfriend initially refused, but he complied when one of Diddy’s associates offered him a second chance. Adria was then hired as a “go-go dancer” at Diddy’s upcoming white party in the Hamptons.
She had dreams of being a star and Diddy promised to help her and allegedly threatened to blackball her from the industry if she did not give in to his demands. Adria alleges Diddy demanded she have sex with Jacob Arabovaka, “Jacob the Jeweler,” and then paid an additional $1,000 on top of what she usually earned for working at Diddy’s parties. Diddy congratulated her for doing a good job.
“Ms. English is very excited and cautiously optimistic about her journey to justice starting with the filing of her civil lawsuit on July 3, 2024, and now with the filing of a criminal complaint with the Miami Beach Police Department,” Ariel E. Mitchell said in a statement. “Ms. English hopes to file an additional criminal complaint in New York but has been precluded to this point as New York requires an individual to be in person in order to file a criminal complaint.”
Comb’s attorney, Jonathan Davis, also issued a statement denying the allegations.
“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone,” his says. “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court.”
