Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Gorga is on a mission to reconcile with her brother, Joe Gorga, but rumors are now circulating that she tried to repair their relationship years ago but that Joe’s wife, Melissa, got in the way.
Sources from Melissa’s camp are disputing this version of events.
“I do not believe that’s true,” a source told Radar Online.
A separate source also weigh in.
“Melissa would never stand in the way of Joe making up with his sister if that’s something he truly wanted. Teresa literally stood on national TV calling Melissa a w—- the last time they were filming RHONJ, and now suddenly she wants to make up when her spot on the show is potentially in question,” the said.
The insider continued, “She’s also been called desperate for doing this, which she isn’t taking well. People are trying to claim she wanted to do this a long time ago, but Melissa got in the way. It seems like it’s an attempt to make rekindling seem like something Teresa has always wanted to do, so the timing isn’t called into question. But that’s simply not the case.”
It has been reported that Teresa is “desperate” to make amends with Joe as her position on the show could be in jeopardy, something Teresa denies.
Teresa has denied rumors that Bravo is happy to film the upcoming season without her.
