Desiigner headed to the No Jumper podcast where he was asked about a recent incident where he was arrested and charged for exposing himself to a flight attendant mid-flight.
The rapper was charged with one federal count of indecent exposure on an aircraft. The rapper reportedly masturbated during a long international flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis.
The “Panda” star whose real name is Sidney Royel Selby III, was sentenced to 120 hours of community service, fined $5,000 and will remain on probation for two years.
“I didn’t know what I was doing. I was fully tweaked out of my mind,” he told Adam22. “I was vegan, I didn’t have enough sugars and stuff like that. I was kinda out of my body. It was a OB experience. It really wasn’t who my character was. I was on medication. I took medication on the plane and just went to sleep.”
The rapper says he is not a pervert.
Desiigner is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his 2015 debut single “Panda”, which topped the Billboard Hot 100. Shortly after the song gained viral status online, he signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music, an imprint of Def Jam Recordings until departing both labels in 2019. In July 2016, he released the follow-up single “Tiimmy Turner”, which peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100. Despite this, Desiigner is frequently described as a one-hit wonder.
