Desiigner has responded to 50 Cent after the mogul revealed that he once had the opportunity to sign the “Panda” rapper but turned him down.

“I had him at the office. I was like, ‘Yo, let me hear the other records you got.’ And he’s like… ‘That’s it.’ And the sh-t was so hot that he had, I was struggling. But I was like, ‘Nah, I can’t give that n-gga that money. Let them give him whatever the f-ck they gonna give him,'” 50 Cent said on Gillie Da Kid and Wallo’s Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.

Desiigner caught wind of the interview and dropped a freestyle, taking aim at 50.

“N-ggas talkin’ that 50 Cent, I be talking fifty mill’ / N-ggas talkin’ that Timmy Turner, glad the n-gga got killed / I got signed to Kanye, lil n-gga, you was never worth a deal,” he rapped, before deleting the video.

Desiigner is best known for his 2015 debut single “Panda”, which topped the Billboard Hot 100. After the song became a smash, he signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music, an imprint of Def Jam Recordings until departing both labels in 2019. In July 2016, he released the follow-up single “Tiimmy Turner”, which peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100.
