Days after he admitted he would be checking himself into a mental health facility after exposing himself to a flight attendant on a plane, Desiigner now faces criminal charges.
Yesterday, he was charged with one federal count of indecent exposure on an aircraft. The rapper reportedly masturbated during a long international flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis.
The misdemeanor is punishable by no more than 90 days of imprisonment and a $500 fine.
When talking to the FBI, he told an agent he “didn’t get much” in Japan and showed his “magic stick” to one of the flight attendants because she was attractive.
He also said he exposed himself “because I didn’t have anything in like a week.” Agents then asked the rapper if asked if his actions interfered with the flight attendant’s job, to which he replied, “I thought I was giving her encouragement, to keep pushing, you know what I mean, to keep striving for it.”
Desiigner apologized for the incident on social media, blaming it on some meds he had taken.
