Dennis Rodman Responds To Daughter Trinity’s Deadbeat Claims… ‘I’m Sorry’

Dennis Rodman has responded to a recent interview his daughter Trinity Rodman sat down for, calling him out for reportedly being an alcoholic, as well as controlling and absent.

“Before the divorce happened, my dad was actually helping money wise. … He would actually give money to my mom and let us live life a little bit,” Trinity said on the Call her Daddy podcast. “When the divorce happened, it was just like, ‘F-ck you guys.’ … We’re getting enough money to pay rent, barely.”

Trinity, who is a soccer star, claims she saw a dad a maximum of four times a year following the divorce and claims he has an alcohol problem.

Rodman responded to his daughter on social media. The former NBA star posted a montage of father-daughter family pics.

“Sorry I wasn’t the Dad you wanted me to be but either way I still tried and I still Try and Never will Stop,” he wrote in the post’s caption.

He continued, “I will keep Trying even when you’re being told as an adult not to respond to my phone calls. I will try even when it’s difficult and if it takes a long time. I’m always here And tell you all the time rather it’s your voice or voicemail how proud I am. I always had one wish and it was I wish my kids would call me and come see me. Hopefully one day I can get that.”

Rodman claims he calls his children and that he watches Trinity play all of the time. He says he was told not to show up once, so he watched her play from his hotel balcony.
