Denise Richards is officially done with marriage, revealing that her bitter breakup with Aaron Phypers has convinced her never to say “I do” again.
“I’m 0 for 2. I am,” the 55-year-old actress told Jenny McCarthy during a recent episode of The Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg Show, referring to her failed marriages to Phypers and Charlie Sheen.
Richards didn’t mince words when asked whether another wedding could be in her future.
“Abso-f–king-lutely not. I don’t want that piece of paper,” she said.
The Starship Troopers actress alleged that her seven-year marriage to Phypers was more about business than love.
“This was not a marriage,” she said, explaining that she felt like “a product” during their relationship.
“I would have a partner, and I want to fall in love again,” she continued.
Phypers filed for divorce in July 2025, citing irreconcilable differences. Richards later accused him of physical abuse and obtained a permanent restraining order in November. Phypers has denied the allegations.
“I certainly, looking back, wish I never set foot into his wellness place ever,” she said.
“It’s such a deep pain and regret and betrayal,” Richards stated, adding that she plans to erase reminders of their relationship once their divorce is finalized.
