Earlier this month, “That 70’s Show” actor Danny Masterson was sentenced to 30 years in prison for rape.
At the time, his wife was reported to not be considering divorce but she appears to have changed her mind.
According to TMZ, his wife cited “irreconcilable differences” and is asking for spousal support and her attorney fees be paid and that her legal name be switched to Bijou Phillips.
I’ve uploaded the full petition for dissolution of marriage that Bijou Phillips, Danny Masterson’s wife, filed in court today.

“Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time. Her priority remains with her daughter,” Phillips’ attorney Peter A. Lauzon said. “This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family. Mr. Masterson was always present for Ms. Phillips during her most difficult times of her life. Ms. Phillips acknowledges that Mr. Masterson is a wonderful father to their daughter.”
The actor and Scientologist pleaded not guilty to three counts of felony rape after three women stepped forward to claim that he raped them between 2001 and 2003.
After a mistrial last December, prosecutors went back to court earlier this year, where on May 31, a second jury found Masterson guilty of sexually assaulting Jen B. and N. Trout. The panel was deadlocked, however, on the third count involving Chrissy B.
