Singer DaniLeigh has been sentenced to five years probation for her 2023 DUI hit-and-run.
DaniLeigh, who shares a child with rapper DaBaby, “pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI charge as well as one count of DUI causing serious injury.”
According to the police report, the singer allegedly hit a man on a moped while she was driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. She was allegedly speeding and continued driving even after she struck the victim’s moped and dragged it for a block as onlookers tried to get her attention.
“She [DaniLeigh] wasn’t really at fault in the accident… but there was damage to the car,” her attorney told XXL. “She wants to say, ‘I’m really sorry about this,’ but [the victim] has a lawyer, and we never let people talk because it can be held against them. She’s very apologetic about it and feels horrible that somebody got hurt.”
