Dame Dash blasted the viral video of Beyoncé cutting Jay-Z’s hair at Yankee Stadium, saying the intimate moment looked “very unrealistic” and “cringe.”
“My girl doesn’t ever cut my hair,” the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder told The Art of Dialogue.
The cinematic clip showed Beyoncé touching up her husband’s hair in the empty stadium bleachers before the first night of his three-show residency. The concerts featured appearances from Beyoncé, Nas, Eminem, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Usher and Pharrell Williams. Dash questioned how Jay-Z could receive a proper cut without going to the barbershop.
“I’m not getting no haircut in the bleachers with no mirrors,” he shared. “There’s no razors. There’s no mirror. It was very unrealistic. It just was very contrived.”
Dame Dash questions why Jay-Z keeps flexing that Beyoncé is his girl, calling it unnatural, and says it was cringe when Jay-Z brought out Nas during Day 1 of his three-show Yankee Stadium run.

Dash also accused Jay-Z of making too much of his marriage in the video.
“We know that’s your girl,” he continued. “It doesn’t look real. It just looks cringe because it’s so unnatural.”
The former music executive also criticized Jay-Z’s reunion with Nas, who joined him during the opening night celebrating the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt.
“I mean, it was a little cringe,” Dash said. “I’m used to them beefing.”
He compared the friendly performance to “seeing Godzilla and King Kong on stage giving each other five.”
