Dame Dash has been going hard at Jay-Z for his joint collab with R. Kelly back in the early 2000s because of the allegations against the Chicago singer, but fans have been pointing out that Dash featured in the duo’s “Fiesta” video while he was dating Aaliyah.
Aaliyah reportedly married Kelly when she was just 15 and suffered at the hands of the jailed star.
Dash says he only took part in the video because Aaliyah pushed him to.

“Her exact words to me were, ‘I don’t want to start any trouble. I just want to heal and get as far away from it as possible’. She asked me not to be in any scenes with [R. Kelly] or take any pictures with him, and I respected that,” he said.
“I stayed in the trailer when they shot scenes with R. Kelly. I did my shots with Jay, but I wasn’t in any scenes with R. Kelly and you’ll never see me in a picture with him.”
In the comments, fans stated that Dash should have still refused to take part in the filming out of loyalty to his girl.
