D4vd Set for New Arraignment as M*rder Case Moves Forward

D4vd is set to return to court August 31 as the murder case involving 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez moves closer to trial.

The 21-year-old singer will be arraigned in Los Angeles just over a month after Judge Charlaine Olmedo ruled prosecutors had presented enough evidence for the case to proceed.

D4vd has pleaded not guilty to murder, lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, and unlawful mutilation of human remains. He also faces special circumstance allegations including murder of a witness, murder for financial gain and lying in wait.

Prosecutors allege D4vd met Celeste through an online fan group when she was 11 and he was 16. They claim the two later began an illegal sexual relationship in 2024, when Celeste was 13 and D4vd was 18.

Authorities allege Celeste became upset over D4vd seeing other women and threatened to disclose their relationship publicly. Prosecutors claim D4vd believed the revelation could jeopardize his music career.

D4vd is accused of luring Celeste to a Hollywood Hills rental home on April 23, 2025, where prosecutors say he stabbed her to death and dismembered her body.

Her remains were discovered September 8 inside the front trunk of a Tesla registered to D4vd at a Hollywood tow lot.

D4vd was arrested April 26, 2026, and remains jailed without bail.
