Cynthia Bailey accused her ex-husband Mike Hill of cheating on her weeks after shooting down reports that his infidelity was the reason for their split.
“Petitioner [Bailey] is entitled to a divorce from the Respondent [Hill] due to inappropriate adulterous relations and moral ethics in his conduct,” she wrote in the court docs obtained by Page Six.
The outlet then reached out to Hill, who alleged that the cheating claims made in the new court filing were an “error” and his ex-wife’s legal team is allegedly “releasing statements retracting this.”
He added, “I have love and respect for Cynthia. I always have and always will. As you heard in her own words, there was never at any time in our marriage any inappropriate adulterous relations. Our marriage didn’t work but we still remain the best of friends.”
Earlier this month the Two T’s in a Pod podcast, Cynthia said: “I felt like we weren’t friends anymore. I felt like it was just going toward we’re just not going to be friends if we didn’t pump the brakes,” said Cynthia.
“This is not my first rodeo. I think friendship just has to be there in a marriage,” she continued. “Like, love is great, but friendship has to be there. I truly want to be with my best friend.”
