CyHi The Prynce has a lot of love for Kodak Black because he says Kodak is a genuine rapper.
“He’s just genuine,” CyHi told DX.
“When you hear a genuine rapper … because you hear dudes that brag about their street life, but the next line, they don’t give you that perspective of, ‘Why I had to…’ He gave you the reason why he is the way he is. Versus most artists just tell you, “This is how I am. This is what I’m giving you, period.” You know what I mean? So I think the perspective, the Gemini, the battle between himself is what’s special to me when he raps, for sure.”
Cyhi The Prynce is a longtime friend of Kanye West and has written some of Ye’s best bars.
Last year he explained why Ye supported Donald Trump so much.
“When I feel like God has a calling for someone, I can’t step in the middle. He doesn’t really have the time to explain himself. He gets a lot of information. He meets with every powerful person in the world. You wouldn’t believe how many private jets he flies people out on, just to have a thirty-minute, hour meeting with them. This is a man who gets information that Twitter may not be able to get — He gets classified information,” he told DJ Vlad.
