CyHi The Prynce dissed Joe Budden in a new freestyle.
“Joe Budden, why you got so much hate in your heart/You gon’ f-ck around and make hating an art/I don’t see much time I could waste on that mark/And please say the remarks,” CyHi rapped on Sway’s Universe.
The freestyle went viral and Budden responded:
“Why is Cyhi doing that to my name while I’m on vacation? That’s not nice,” Budden tweeted. “& w that nasty ass bar too….. you lot so lucky lol,” said Budden referencing his retirement.
Budden was challenged to a rap battle by CyHi after he kept mocking him for backing Kanye West.
On his podcast, Budden said: “I’ve worked myself into a lose-lose situation, which ultimately, is a win-win. CyHi knows what’s going on, just leave me alone and stop. He’s got a problem with media Joe, all these n-ggas got a problem with media Joe, so why do y’all keep calling out rapper Joe? If somehow we were able to raise enough capital to make this fun, do y’all think Joe wouldn’t do it? It’s all a matter of timing.”
