Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones says he has been unable to serve Hollywood actor Cuba Gooding Jr. with legal papers for his multi-million dollar lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Lil Rod claims Diddy groomed him for other men, and in his lawsuit, he references an incident with Cuba, who he accused of groping his private areas. The lawsuit included video screenshots of the alleged incident.
“Mr. Combs had dominion and control over the actions of Cuba Gooding Jr. and failed to step in and stop Cuba Gooding Jr. from sexually assaulting Mr. Jones,” the lawsuit alleges.
Lil Rod’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn says they have tried to serve Gooding at properties in California and New York but that the actor has been living out of hotels to avoid servers.
“The plaintiff has attempted to serve Mr. Gooding Jr. at [the New York City] location several times and he has refused to answer the door,” the attorney wrote. “The plaintiff discovered this is Mr. Gooding Jr.’s address from conducting a skip trace search, which was also confirmed through court filings … Additionally, this was his address of record for his recent criminal cases where he [pleaded] guilty for sexual assault.”
Gooding Jr. previously called the lawsuit “ridiculous.”
