Cuba Gooding Jr has faced several lawsuits over recent years but this year, his name was dragged into Sean “Diddy” Combs’ scandal after producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones mentioned his name in a lawsuit against the disgraced mogul.
Lil Rod claims Diddy groomed him for other men, and in his lawsuit, he references an incident with Cuba, who he accused of groping his private areas. The lawsuit included video screenshots of the alleged incident.
“Mr. Combs had dominion and control over the actions of Cuba Gooding Jr. and failed to step in and stop Cuba Gooding Jr. from sexually assaulting Mr. Jones,” the lawsuit alleges.
Speaking to Extra, the actor dismissed the lawsuit as the “most ridiculous thing ever,” adding, “Welcome to being a celebrity! Welcome to my world.”
Cuba thanks God for bringing him through.
“It’s that old saying: you can’t please people every time. But people who want to celebrate artistry, that’s my job and that’s my only mission in life,” he added.
