Crystal Kung Minkoff is opening up about a meaningful moment with Garcelle Beauvais that viewers never got to see during her final season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After three seasons on the show, Crystal says she was surprised by her exit, especially after feeling more confident and invested than ever. Still, she shared that one of the most important conversations of her time on the series never made it to air.
Speaking on her podcast Humble Brag, Crystal recalled sitting down with Garcelle during Season 13 to address lingering tension.
“I said to her, ‘I can’t move forward in our friendship unless you understand what I went through, and I don’t really trust you,’” Crystal explained. She added that she had always felt protective of Garcelle and was hurt by what she perceived as betrayal.
According to Crystal, Garcelle was taken aback by the conversation. “She was really shocked,” Crystal said. “She apologized and told me, ‘I had no idea, and I’m really sorry I did that to you.’”
Crystal believes the exchange mattered deeply. “The audience never saw that, and I think it was really important,” she said.
Despite the unseen moment and her departure from the show, Crystal shared that she is now in a good place with both Garcelle and Sutton Stracke. “We’re good today,” she said.
