Conor McGregor Speaks On Nashville School Shooting

Lyndon Abioye |

MMA star Conor McGregor has spoken out about the tragic school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee which left several adults and children dead.

Three children and three adults were fatally shot.

“I have had my children at school here while stateside and have had my own armed guard present at the school. This was prior to the most recent school shooting also,” he said.

Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old former student, was in possession of an AR-15 military-style rifle, a 9 mm Kel-Tec SUB2000 pistol caliber carbine, and a 9 mm Smith and Wesson M&P Shield EZ 2.0 handgun, according to Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake.

Hale was a transgender female. She was fatally shot by police officers.

“If she shot her way in to that school from the outside, my guard, who is tucked away, armed and unseen, would have seen her and taken her down. Saving those children’s lives,” McGregor added.

He has since deleted the tweet.
