Coi Leray and Latto’s feud apparently got a lot more physical than fans knew.
Coi revealed on a recent episode of The Jason Lee Show that she once exchanged blows with Latto’s sister, Brooklyn Nikole, during the fallout over Latto’s 2023 song “Put It On Da Floor.”
“One thing led to another, and me and Brooklyn fought behind the scenes,” Coi recalled. “It was a whole thing. A whole fist fight. I done refractured my knee and everything.”
The trouble began after Latto rapped, “Smokin’ on that gas, blunt big as Coi Leray.” Coi clapped back publicly at the time, saying the lyric crossed a line, and added that the disagreement later spilled offline when she and Brooklyn came face-to-face. She said Brooklyn swung first, but security stepped in before the punch landed.

Coi also said she understood why Brooklyn wanted to stand up for Latto.
“I felt like she had to defend her sister, and me, I was defending myself,” she explained.
