Reggie’s mother is speaking out after her son went public with allegations of childhood sexual abuse, and she says his account is true.
She addressed the claims in a video of her own, telling viewers that she had known about the alleged abuse for years but chose not to tell Reggie’s story for him.
“I wanted my youngest son to be able to tell his own story,” she said. “I knew it would come a time where he would tell his own story.”
“When you guys see the YouTube, understand he’s not crazy,” she continued. “It’s true. It’s facts.”

Reggie’s mother said she learned about the alleged abuse in 2015 and contacted police.
“The moment I found out that his older brother was violating him, I called the police,” she said.
She explained that the aftermath was devastating, and that she had to separate her sons, find housing for the older brother and make sure Reggie received therapy.
“I took Reggie to therapy. I found a therapist and I took him to therapy every week. Every week.”
She said the experience has remained with her years later.
“It’s the heaviest pain I’ve ever carried and I carry it every day,” she said.
She also said Reggie’s decision to speak publicly did not change her support for him.
“I’m enormously proud of him,” she said. “He’s not crazy. He’s not losing his mind,” she added. “This is all facts.”
Reggie is a former member of Kai Cenat’s Clover Boys. He alleged that Cenat and RaKai knew about the abuse. Cenat has since threatened legal action.
