Claressa Shields Claims Retired Boxing Champion Laila Ali Is “Obsessed” With Her

Claressa “GWOAT” Shields reignited her feud with Laila Ali, posting a 20-minute video titled “When Jealousy and Envy Meets Greatness.”

In it, Shields accused Ali of spreading false stories about their relationship and shared what she called “receipts.”

Shields said Ali’s past advice to stay amateur showed her mentorship was never real. Shields ignored her and turned pro and became the first woman in boxing to earn a million dollars.

She accused Ali of “jealousy disguised as class,” citing old interviews where Ali mocked Ronda Rousey’s size and losses. Shields called those remarks “mean girl energy” and said they reveal how Ali treats other women in the sport.

She also pushed back against Ali’s claim that she’s a “bad representation” of boxing, saying, “You’ve never seen a mugshot of me. I’ve never been in jail, never tested positive for PEDs.”

Shields argued her clean record proves she’s earned her position as the face of women’s boxing.

Two weeks back, Ali recently released her own tell-all video, denying jealousy and saying she always supported Shields. She said their feud stemmed from comments taken out of context.
