Chrisean Rock Denies Breaking Tamar Braxton’s Friend’s Teeth

Chrisean Rock is still denying allegations of assault made against her in a lawsuit filed by Tamar Braxton’s friend, James Wright.

The incident allegedly took place backstage Braxton’s show in November 2023.

Rock is accused of attacking James, with her rings on, causing him to have to get his teeth fixed after they were broken.

Rock denied that Wright suffered numerous physical injuries, extreme “mental anguish,” severe distress, and physical pain and suffering.

Her attorney argued that Wright’s actions from that evening also “estopped, in whole, or in part, from asserting any of their claims against [Chrisean].”

Rock claims Wright was barred from “recovering any damages against her because of his own conduct, actions, and/or omissions.”

According to reports, Rock began saying that she felt “disrespected” by Braxton’s crew for not allowing her to perform. Braxton said Wright “got hit in the face for being nice to a guest.” Wright says after assaulting him, Rock used a homophobic slur.

After the alleged incident, Braxton addressed the incident on her Instagram.
